Last Saturday, I went to canoeingtrip at the onondaga kyamp.
It took 2hours by bus from York to there.
Unfortunately, it was raining in the morning.
However, I could see a beautiful sean when I got to there.
There are many coloured leaves around big lake.
These leaves coloured red, orenge and blown.
I'v never seen so beautiful coloured leaves!
But, I forgot my camera. oh-
We got on canoe , made leather clafts, played tennis and did archery there!
We played whole a day!
At the night, we did campfire inside room because it rained outside.
The staffs of camp sung songs and danced to aroused us!
Sometimes I couldn't follow them because of high- tension. haha
On the way to go back to York, we talked "horror story"on the bus.
As I expected, japanese horror is famous in canada, also.
Anyway, I enjoyed the canoeing trip!
York University has a big library named "Scott library".
Every morning I go there and study English.
There are many desk and quiet room,which help me to study.
Sometimes I met my classmate in the library.
They also come to the University early and study there.
They are good students.
Today we became "Library friends"
From now, we'll meet at the library in the morning and encourage to study each other.
Is it good idea, isn't it?
And we'll have lanch together in the noon.
I look forward to next morinng!
This Sunday, I went to gym and did weight training as usual.
And I met a Canadian who is also the student of York university there.
He suggested me toimprove the way of excercise.
And we become friends.
He will help me to practice English by talking with him.
And he said he is interested in Japan.
Since I came to Canada, I met many people who prefer to Japan.
I was surprised.
I went to China for studying abroad before.
And I also met many chinese who interested inJapan.
However,the interest to Japan between Canadian and Chinese are different.
The envy to Japan that chinese have is just a interest to developed country like to theU.S.
They long to make economy developed and to get higher income.
On the contrary, Canadian's interest is aimed for Japanese traditional
, for instance SUSHI, Mt.FUJI, and beautifle Buddhist temples.
Their longing seems that they want what they will not be able to have even in the future.
So it is pleasant for me to explain Japanese culture
and the way of thinking in Japanese to Canadians.
I realized the charm of Asia is strong when I came to North America.
Indivisualization and capitalizm is born here.
Asia have another our sense of value certainly.
I skipped blog these days.
Because I was tired and I have no power to write blog.
Anywey, canada life already passed three weeks.
I study English every day.I hope I speak English better.
I went to Niagalla folls yesterday!
I'v never seen such a huge falls.
And we could see a rainbow there! very beautiful!
When you over the bridge at Niagalla, there is theU.S.!
Next month, I'll go to New york.
The third week already started in York.
Time is really flashing by.
Anyway, this morning I talked with Masaaki by Skype.
He go to driving school at Niigata to get driving licence.
I hope he stay there cheerfly!
Today, I learned how to write essay in English.
For me, it is important part.
Because I have to write graduate thesis after I come back to Japan.
Of course, I write in Japanese. haha.
After class, I went to pool.
I swum 25m×twelve times.
I was tired but comfortable.
Last Saturday,my host family brought me to the boat cruise!
The ship sailed to Harbourfront of Toronto and passed through Toronto Island.
I could see beautiful scene from boat regardless of a cloudy sky.
However,this cruise was a ritual of Hindu.
On the boat, many Hindus prey for gods and sung many Hindu songs.
Finally, they floated the god to the sea.
I couldn't understand the ritual,but it was interesting experience for me.
And, I made a friend that time.
She is also Hindu and interesting in Japan nature.
Next time, we wil go to eat Sushi together!
On Sunday, I went to ROM, Royal Ontario Museum in downtown.
In the morning, I did my homework in my room.
Then,I took bus and train and went to downtown!
Actually, I want to go to AGO, Art Garally of Ontario.
However,it is repaired now and a renewal open is on 14,November.
Unlucky,I couldn't go to AGO while I'm in Canada.
Actually, Museum was marvelous!
There were many kinds of culture's arts and antiques.
I had a realization that Canada is "Melting pot" same as theU.S.
There are no culture peculiar to Canada.
There is a medley of different cultures.
This is Canada.
I took a too much rest on weekend!
It is "Ramadan"week for Muslim now.
So they can't eat anythig from sunrise to sunset.
There are many Muslims in York University and of course they are in "Ramadan"just now.
Today I went to Arabic restaurant with my Musilim friends.
Now is hard time for them because of" Ramadan"
So they wanna eat Arabic food at least.
Arabic food tasted very good!
I ate nan bread and lamb meat.
I had eaten Arabic food before while I'v visited to Egypt.
I can remembered Egypt's Pyramid!
My cold is gradually getting better thanks to take a rest this week.
Next week I resume exercise in Gymnastic!
Today's class topic is "number".
We larned about number.
THen,we asked to our classmates each other about their coutries.
For example,"What is the population of your coutry?"
or"How long is the history of your country?"
All questions are related to number.
And I asked an Saudy Alabian "How much is gasolline in your country?"
He just said "16cent/liter."
I was really astonished.
In japan,gasoline costs about $1.70 now.
The country who has oil is rich and strong in every aspects.
After class,I joined "Game night"!
A community reader, Farael held this club
and he teach us some games in English!
He remembered my boyfriend,Masaaki. and he said to hi to Masaaki!
It was very exciting time.
Hosey students asked me to go to Pub tonight, but regrettable I still cath a cold.
SoI gave up to go.
I wish I could get rid of a cold in the head soon!
This week I 'll take a rest for recovering my head cold.

The seminar class started today.
My class is Music class.
We study vocaburaly and listening through listening music.
The teacher has a cheerful nature and plays his guiter and sing a song sometimes.
We studied about 1950's Rock'n Roll, for eample,Elvis Plesry,Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly.
Then we sing two representative 50's song,Stand by me and SEA OF LOVE.
After class, I went to the pool in the gym for the first time.
I swam 25 meters,eight times.
It was very comfortable.
My cold is getting better!
Today,I went to new class.
Why did I take part in new class?
My teacher Annemarie made my class change.
Because there are many Japanese and Chinese at previous class.
They often talk each other by using their mother tongue.
I was annoyed by them.
That is why I change the class.
Current class is very good!
The teacher, Mr Heren, he sspeak English speedy.
It is hard to catch up with him,but it is good for raising my listening skil.
and all students have enthusiasm!
I was excited about new class very much today.
I have some homework today.
I'll do homework!
Now, I 'm planning about the trip to NY.
It takes about 10 hours by bus between Toronto and New York.
I wanna go to NY but I haven't decided whether I go to NY alone or with some friends.
Alone is easy but I'm afraid because I am woman.
umm...
Now I plan to go to watch a Musical at Broadway
and look night view at Empire state building and go to some art museums!
There are so many museums at Manhattan,
for example Metroporitan museum,The Museum of Modern Art(MOMA) and so on.
I'm excited to go to NY!
Well, I'm going to go to NY from Saturday 11Oct to Monday 13Oct.
13th oct is a holiday , Thanks giving day.
So we have three holidays in arow that time!
Probably there will be many people because of that holiday in NY.
I have to buy some tickets as soon as possible!
Yesterday was the first weekend since I came to Toronto.
I went to downtown with my friends.
"Toronto international film festival" is held in downtown now.
This festival is the third biggest film festival in the world
next to Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin and Festival International du Film de Cannes.
Over 300 films are screened in about 10 days
and some Hollywood movie stars will come to the festival.
I heard that on last Friday Blad pit came there.
I love watching movies, so I wanna watch some movies in this festival.
However, I couldn't buy the ticket because of too many people.
Then, we hung around the central of Toronto.
I went to a big shopping center named "Eaton centre" and bought a blown woolen scarf in H&M.
In Toronto, summer was already over and autumn is coming.
It's getting cold outside suddenly.
I'v not recovered my cold yet.
Today, I'll take a rest and prepare for the second week!
I went to Hindu temple with my host family yesterday.
My host family are Hindu.
They don' t eat beef and pork, and they prey by singing a song every morning.
They go to Hindu temple and prey to gods on every Friday evening.
On that day woman have to wear dress and man also wear clean cloths.
And you don' t have to eat meat before you go to the temple.
Almost Indian profess the Hindu religeon.
The hindu admit the worship of idols, so there are many gods shape animals.
Elephant is one of the gods you can see in the Hindu temple.
Then wedding between Hindus was held there yesterday.
We took part in that wedding party.
Of course,There is no more alcohol and meat!
Almost Japanese are not aware of religeon in their lives.
However,it is important to know that there are many religion in the world.
Hello,I skipped my blog for two days!
Because I caught a cold two days ago.
I think a common cold virus is staying in my house
because Mom and younger brother caught a cold too.
Anyway, I attended my class for the first time two days ago.
My teacher is Mrs. Annemarie,who was born at Ireland.
She is nice teacher.
My class contain four Japanese and five Chinese and two Sandi Arabian and one Iraqi.
On the first day, we took test again.
That was structure test and writing test,
I almost forgot English because I studied English hard just four years ago.
Then, I went to gymnasium in York.
I paid $48 for using gym two months.
There are some training room and pool!
I jogged for thirty minutes and trained for thirty minutes.
I felt that my body lightened.
Today is the last day of the first week.
Time is money,
Today was the first day at YUELI.
YUELI is York University English Languege Institute.
In the morning,we took the placement test.
The placement test contain writing,listenning and structure.
This test was very difficult for me...
I didn't study English so much while I am at University.
So I almost forgot English.
As a result, my class is level 4.This is afternoon class.
However,If I got higher level,I would not make an effort to study at YUELI. so much.
So this is good trigger for me to study English seriously!
Anyway, I missed the bas stop when I go back to my home today.
It is more important that I remember the name of bus stop I get off.
Tomorrow regular classes will start!
Today, I went to around home.
Dad brought us to York University by his car.
As expected, York is very large.There are over 50,000students.
I heard that York's business school is the best in Canada.
Then, we went to Daddy's shop.
The shop customer tailor a suit.
There are a lot of select suit there and Daddy made all suit.
In the night, we had a barbecuein house's yard!
By the way, because of jet lag, I felt very sllepy today.
The time difference between Tokyo and Toronto is 14 hours.
I have to be accustomed to local time soon.
Yesterday I arrived at Toronto airport.
Why did I come to Canada?
I am going to study English at York University for 8 weeks.
So,I try to write this blog in Englishto better my English
while I'm at Canada.
My flight from Japan to Toronto took about 20 hours!!!
I transferred two times at Atlanta and Cincinaty.
I leave Narita airport on 3:00 pm,31, August.
Then, I got to Toronto Airport on 12:00 pm,1,September.
It was very very long day...
I stay with family living in Toronto,near York university.
They are Mom, Dad and two children.
Happily,they are very kind and children are very cute!
And there is a Japanese student who go to Housei University.
Of course, we speak English each other.
Well, today is Labor day.
In japan, Labor day is 23,November.
In Canada and U.S.however,is the first Monday,September.
I have English placement test in school Tomorrow.
Now,I start to study English!
